Question: Can I use it for both tube and DLR? I will travel most of the time in Zone 1
Answer: I'm assuming you mean Deptford Bridge station on the DLR. It is on the border of Zone 2 and 3. For this reason, it is regarded as being in both Zone 2 and Zone 3. As such, you can buy a Zone 2 or Zone 3 travelcard. If you are only going to travel in Zone 2 regularly, buy a Zone 2 travelcard and use PrePay for the odd occasion you go into Zone 3. However, if you are going to travel to other Zone 3 stations everyday, you will be better of buying a Zone 3 travelcard. If you are unsure, buy a monthly Zone 2 travelcard and use PrePay to go into Zone 3 for a month. Then decide the next month whether you are better off buying a Zone 2 or Zone 3 travelcard.
