how to snap a good picture??

Question: i saw a girl took a lot of great picture.. they all look like photoes in magazine.. she is not a photographer.. she just used sony t-100 what is the difference between optical zoom and digital zoom?? what is iso?? thanks

Answer: You probably don't want to "snap" pictures. A snap shot is one taken without much thought or technique. Photographs are composed and exposed using skills that are not automatically available to someone without some education. Optical zoom is a lenses function. Digital zoom is nothing more than a cropping feature in the camera and produces very poor images when compared to optically zoomed images. ISO is the way we measure the light sensitivity of film or a sensor. The higher the number, the more sensitive ... and more noise is introduced to the image. It appears you would benefit from a photo class at a local community college The more you read answers here, the more you will run into the statement, "It is not the camera, but the photographer who makes great images". So "she just used" .. T-100 has no bearing on her ability to compose and expose her images. Yes, the quality of the camera can effect the ultimate quality of the image technically, the composition and skill in using the camera is still the paramount factor in producing outstanding images
