Question: I am saving up my money for a scooter. I know i will be too tempted to buy one when i reach about $2,000.haha. So, i was looking at the Yamaha Zuma and the Yamaha Vino Classic. I was probably going to get the Zuma but i heard some complaints about it. Please tell me which one is better and why. Thank You!
Answer: I rode a Zuma for 3 years! The Zuma is a most excellent 50cc bike, but so is the Vino. The Zuma is straight up faster than the Vino. They have the same engines, but the Zuma is better tuned. Also, the Zuma is not a moped, and can be registered as a motorcycle. Big thing on either bike is to make sure you use synthetic oil in the bike. I got 15,000 miles when I sold it, and it was still running fine. the effective ring life on a 2 stroke Zuma is supposed to be 10,000 miles. Hope to see you out there!
